FREE Beach Trolley Service

The Santa Rosa Island Authority provides transportation around Pensacola Beach for free! Use their Trolley service beginning in mid-May and running through Labor Day. Service starts at the Portofino Boardwalk and travels to the Fort Pickens Gate on the west side of the island and then to Portofino Resort and Spa on the east side. Trolleys run every 20-30 minutes and there are stops along Fort Pickens Road and Via DeLuna Drive. Trolleys run Friday from 6pm to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight, and Sunday 5pm to 10pm. Extra trolley service runs on July 4th, The Blues on the Beach weekend, and Labor Day weekend.

The Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT), who provide the free seasonal beach trolley service also provides 15 comprehensive routes throughout the Greater Pensacola Area six days a week year ’round.
