DeLuna Fest 2011

450 years ago Tristán De Luna landed on beautiful Pensacola Beach after a long journey across the Atlantic. De Luna and his crew decided to clebrate by throwing a party. Now the party is back!

October, 2010, DeLuna Fest officially began with the first annual American Beach Party. The festival celebrates music and culture as well as awareness of the history of America’s first settlement. Last year’s event featured 34 national and local acts enjoyed by thousands of attendees along the beautiful white sand of Pensacola Beach. This year’s festival will feature more acts, more food, and more fun in the sun!

DeLuna Fest 2011 runs from Friday, October 14th through Sunday, October 16th. With 5 stages located along Casino Beach and over 80 bands, the music will seemingly never stop. The concert lineup features national acts such as Linkin Park and Weezer as well as many local acts. The lineup is as follows:

Linkin Park

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2011) Linkin Park regrets to inform their fans that they must withdraw from their appearance at DeLuna Fest in Pensacola, Florida on October 16th, due to co-lead vocalist Chester Bennington’s upcoming shoulder surgery. Bennington suffered a shoulder injury while on tour in Asia last month that has been diagnosed as requiring immediate medical attention. “As much as I was looking forward to rocking our final date with our Florida fans, I’ve been advised to have immediate surgery, ” said Chester. “I’m sorry for any disappointment this has caused and look forward to seeing you again soon.”

Admission into the festival is $189.95 for a regular pass with in and out privileges for all three days, $215 for the day of the show, or $800 for a VIP Weekend Pass. Military Packages are available as well.
