Personal Reflections

Our interest in the Pensacola Beach area goes way back. My father was born in Pensacola and my grandparents owned an ice cream shop there in the 40’s called the Polar Bar. While my mother was born in Mobile, she spent a great deal of her early years in Pensacola. My parents met while my mother was a waitress at the Polar Bar. One of my earliest memories of any place other than home was seeing the Pensacola Beach sign in all of its animated, fluorescent glory upon arrival at our vacation destination. To this day I have an unhealthy obsession with this beautiful creation.

As adults we bring our children down to experience Pensacola Beach at least a couple of times a year. We’re always looking for an excuse to visit. We have never been disappointed and a great time is always had by all.

Basic Pensacola Beach Information

Pensacola Beach is serviced by three main roads, Pensacola Beach Boulevard, Via Deluna Drive and Ft. Pickens Road. Pensacola Beach Boulevard is the gateway to Santa Rosa Island and Pensacola Beach. Be sure to turn at the famous Pensacola Beach sign onto the Bob Sikes Bridge. The Bob Sikes Bridge, also more popularly known as the Pensacola Beach Bridge leading south from Gulf Breeze transitions into Pensacola Beach Blvd. After paying a toll at the gate drive onto Pensacola Beach Blvd. which is home to many entertainment and dining venues as well as beautiful stretches of sugary white public beaches and well maintained picnic areas. Pensacola Beach Blvd. intersects with Via DeLuna Dr. and Ft. Pickens Rd. at the core of the business and entertainment district of Pensacola Beach. As you come to this one and only traffic light on Pensacola Beach you will see Via DeLuna Drive to the left and Ft. Pickens Road to the right.

Via DeLuna Drive follows Santa Rosa Island to the east. As you travel east along Via DeLuna Drive Pensacola Beach will be in view to the south and Santa Rosa Sound will be in view to the north. Ft. Pickens Road follows Santa Rosa Island to the west. As you travel west along Ft. Pickens Road Pensacola Beach will be in view to the south and Santa Rosa Sound will be in view to the north. Vacation homes along Via DeLuna Drive and Ft. Pickens Road include hotels, motels, condos and beach houses that will accommodate any budget. Many vacation homes are pet-friendly. All properties offer beautiful Emerald Coast beachfront views of the Gulf of Mexico or Santa Rosa Sound. Dining, evening entertainment and local shopping are also to be found along Via DeLuna Drive and Ft. Pickens Rd. These are a wonderful accompaniment to a relaxing day on the beach and add even more fun to your visit.

The logo was created in Photoshop using images of the sign we have photographed over the years. We tried to remain as true to the current sign as possible while adding a few unique details that distinguish it as our own and allows for improved reproduction quality.

Internet Development

I established our Internet development company in 1995 having been actively involved with the Internet dating back to 1991. We currently own approximately 250 domains with roughly a third fully developed and active. We’re getting to the rest as quickly as we can.
